Rural Sourcing Names Tom Rodkey as the New Director of their Oklahoma City Software Development Center
OKLAHOMA CITY, February 20, 2019 – Rural Sourcing, the leading provider of US-based IT outsourcing services, has named Tom Rodkey as the new director of the company’s software development center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
As director, Tom is responsible for building and leading a team of 150+ IT consulting colleagues, driving team collaboration and fostering the culture, supporting business development, and advancing Rural Sourcing’s participation within the tech community.
“With over 20 years of IT leadership roles in the United States and abroad, Tom brings a specific focus on management skills that will tremendously benefit our new development center,” said Ingrid Miller, chief operating officer at Rural Sourcing. “In addition, his extensive experience in both cloud and digital transformation position him as an asset to both our team and our clients.”
Tom most recently served as an executive IT consultant to FEMA, overseeing a team of developers and project managers through the migration of three different databases onto a cloud platform. Prior to that, he was director of IT at WageDayAdvance, where he led the IT department and strategic technology planning for this UK lending company. Tom earned an MBA from Wichita State University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tulsa. He is also a former petty officer first class in the United States Navy.
