Monty Hamilton finds success in purpose-driven IT solutions
ATLANTA (June 19, 2019) – EY today announced that Monty Hamilton, CEO of Rural Sourcing is a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2019 Award in the Southeast. Widely considered one of the most prestigious business awards programs in the U.S., the program recognizes entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies who are excelling in their areas of expertise, while also transforming the world.
Rural Sourcing was founded 10 years ago in a “tin shack” in Arkansas. Over the past few years, Hamilton has grown the company approximately 600 software developers through six development centers around the country. This growth can be attributed to Hamilton’s thoughtful leadership and the company’s commitment to delivering results through mission-driven IT solutions.
“Americans should not have to choose between vocation and location,” said Monty Hamilton, CEO of Rural Sourcing. “At Rural Sourcing, we want to bring high-paying technology jobs to the heart of the country to ensure that we are prepared for the future and can compete globally. It is this singular focus that drives me and continues to guide our company as we grow.”
Recently in response to exponential growth in demand for its services, Rural Sourcing has opened two new development centers in Oklahoma City and Fort Wayne, Ind. As it continues its mission to bring technology jobs onshore to Middle America, RSI is providing opportunities for thousands of Americans to build careers in technology.
Hamilton was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, Georgia. Now in its 33rd year, the program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities and more than 60 countries throughout the world.
Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National competition. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 16, 2019.
